AAH is delighted to share that NHS Scotland have appointed us as exclusive solus provider of storage and distribution services for seasonal influenza vaccines and other products.
These will be distributed to community pharmacies across 14 regional Health Boards in mainland Scotland and the Western Isles, Orkney and Shetland, from 1st October 2021.
What happens next?
• In Scotland, the Vaccine Transformation Programme (VTP) is working with NHS Boards, Primary Care and others as necessary to develop and test proposals for future delivery of vaccination programmes, with a presumption that GPs/Primary Care will no longer be the default preferred provider.
• There are four different types of flu vaccine from Seqirus and Sanfoi Aventis available to order via AAH, along with associated consumables. You can find these listed on AAH Point now.
